Introduction
This portfolio is a summary of my professional, academic, and volunteer experiences during my pursuit of the MPA at VSU. Careful consideration was given to the information included in this project to show my professional and academic development throughout the pursuit of my degree. In order to represent my development throughout the program, I included artifacts from each of the courses in the order in which they were produced. I chose professional artifacts that represent my dedication to achievement and professional growth. I also included artifacts that represent my interests and my desire to improve my written communication skills.
I currently work as a Database Administrator for the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia - Information Technology Services (ITS) office in Athens, Georgia. I have worked here for seven years. I love what I do because I get an opportunity to provide excellent third-tier customer service to end-users at each of the University System of Georgia campuses. My goal is to learn something new each day and to never become complacent with my current situation in life. I strive for improvement each day and push myself to continually reach my goals. I believe in leading by example and being a productive member in any team environment. As an individual, I stand out because I have a strong work ethic and desire to help and inspire those around me. Throughout this program, I hope to gain a better perspective of the Public Administration field and utilize the knowledge to help me improve as an individual and a leader.
